im new to jaiku. hi. i installed the mobile app, but i cant login (incorrect username and pass). has/is ne1 else having this problem?

    try changing your pwd to something really simple (so your sure you'll type it correctly) and try again? it worked fine for me, i've installed the app several times and had no problem at all.

    i tried numerous different passwords. some short, some long, some with numbers. i made sure to enter them very carefully. the first time i installed it, i had a txt sent to my phone with a link, so i uninstalled and downloaded the sis installer to my computer and transferred it over bluetooth, but I am still getting the same error. ahh this is frustrating. any other suggestions? does it take a while for new accounts to propagate through to all the servers?

    seems like they might be using a different server to authenticate mobile app logins and new users aren't being added. just a guess. i emailed jaiku, so we'll see what they say.

    I'm having exactly the same problem. Just re-joined jaiku today. There's definitely nothing wrong with the username or password I type.

    Bleh. Sorry guys - there was a problem with replication to the database that handles client logins. The replication is restored and should catch up in a couple of hours after which logins for new users should work again.

    I'm up and running. You might have to run jaiku tools>options>delete data but it should work.
