Your text alerts would have hinted at the cross-talk between
myself and @eirepreneur
about transit times from Cashel to Cork http://url.ie/fcy which suggest that it's
probably easier for people in South Tipperary to connect into Cork
OpenCoffee when it's city centre Cork than it is to connect into
Limerick City Centre. It's all down to the road network improving
much faster along the M8.
What about Rubicon or NSC? Rubicon is very near the city centre
(as the car drives), and not too far off the south ring (tunnel
permitting, on the M8) and the NSC is on the south ring road, so
you could stay on the M8 the entire way down and tunnel to the
other locations.
I missed the "aircoach" usage. The other 2 venues are on bus
routes . I think the no 10 goes near the NSC, not sure where the
nearest stop is. @conoro care
to comment on Rubicon, I use a provided service for Fas
See @Eireprenure you
can become a friday regular too. @Topgold, useful if you are going to
be broadcasting a OCC-Podcast. A proper pod of coffee in a proper
cast of pod
@WillKnot I live in west
Limerick, not south Tipp. The round-trip to COCC would take me 2
hours longer than the round trip to LOCC. But I've definitely got
to make it sometime (just like the Cork regulars have got to make
it to Limerick sometime!).

it's comments like this which makes me miss the Jaiku SMS so much. I would have called over.

Our recent trip to a B&B in South Tipp reminded me just how close it is!

No matter the distance, I think it's important to have a regular appearance at COCC by an emissary from LOCC.
