@Siegfried Thanks for
letting us know. I just tried to post a test comment and that
seemed to work ok. If you still have trouble, it'd be great if you
could let us know more specifically where the problem occurs, and
we'll take a look at it.
@jyri: It is still not
working. On the frontpage it also says 'Posted by Jyri | Permalink
| No Comments'. So no comments were received? I'm working with
FF2.0.0.11
@hyppocrisy we're
doing a bunch of things to the service to improve responsiveness
incrementally over the next week or so. Mainly this involves
operations related to cleaning up the database. We'll keep you
updated with more details as we make progress. Meanwhile, hang in
there!
I can understand if the database's responsiveness goes down when
you do maintenance work too, so no worries mate! :) (It's just a
developed-world (pardon the pun) problem to not seeing one's
favourite webservice not working as it should! ;))
@Siegfried Bugger,
you're right! I managed to replicate the bug. It only happens if
you're not logged in, which I overlooked the first time (how smart
was that!) I'll ask Andy to look into this.
@jyri, you sound like a
distracted programmer called in to confirm bugs ;-) I tend to see
the 504 when I open up a bookmark group with Jaiku channels,
usually the tab that's loading the #jaiku channel. And of course
I am logged in.
Looks like our blog’s spam filter was running amok. I just went
through the logs and de-spammed all legit comments. We really
appreciate so many people taking the time to respond. Some of the
comments are particularly thoughtful so take a look - they should
all now be visible at

Replying at the blog doesn't work. Or is it just the cache?

Thank you Jyri. I anxiously await the day that the 504s disappear. I do appreciate the news!
