I think I saw something on #devku that said they'd
disabled comments in feeds for the moment because they were
producing too much load on the servers. I'll see if I can find the
post
Yeah, this is totally wrong when you can't soon rely on
any external client (Mauku on my N810 shows the same behavior as
JuHu). Even the mobile client on S60 has been unusable as a way to
catch up on discussions cos it seems to loose so many comments from
threads.
Unfortunately this is not first time nor the only issue with
JSON feeds. As an external developer (Mauku) I feel very
frustrated. Almost all of my work has changed unusable because
users are not able to use the client as expected. I think Jaiku
should support external clients as their own (one reason for the
success) or drop the support totally. Now it is not obvious if it
wise to continue developing external clients.
@hhedberg It would be a
sad loss to my N800 enjoyment if I had to lose Mauku, just when I
was starting to really like gestures. There must be something we
can do to voice our opinion to Jaiku? Any idea anyone?

thanks @dsample. I vaguely recall reading that but it didn't register at the time.
I actually don't mind this so much--it makes jaiku less IM-y. But then again, sometimes you miss interesting/fun stuff!

It seems the only real way is to use m.jaiku.com

@map Very true. I ended up just quiting Juhu and dropping in the web site a lot. I really hope they can get it working again
