Jaiku seems to lack "languages" features. Each channel/stream should have language attribute and users should be able to filter out channels in languages they do not know.

Reading "explore" is a way to noisy. And some jaikus have only link inside. You go there - bum - some trees instead of roman letters. :)

But you can never know to what language a thread ends to... And there is some multilingual channels, too.

True. So there should be "multilingual"/"unspecified" setting too. It is better to help in 99% of cases than 0%.
