I can't find the option for that in the settings. But I like the response because this was i know for sure it has been added to the system.

If you look back through #imku you'll find that question asked multiple times .. always with the same answer

yeah i looked through the settings and FAQ already i was just posting to see if i was missing something obvious or maybe some chat command

i already combed the first 2 pages of #imku can you just tell me what is the common reply that everyone gives to the question
@irahim: Just send "stop" (without the quotes) on an empty line and all the IMing will stop. Very handy!

@fredrikfischer hey that stops all IM activity, i still want to be notified by IM on my friends activity its just redundant and annoying that i see my own message as an update considering i posted it.
