The only way I can see the list is to sign out (!!) and click
the >more link under the "contacts grid". That
listing shows both contacts and channels. When clicking that
>more-link when signed in, the contacts
management page is shown, which excludes channels.
@BUGabundo: OK, that
page has a better listing of all the channels available. However,
what I'm after is a list of all the channels I have joined.
All-in-all, I acknowledge that the channels are still very much
underdeveloped feature of jaiku. At the moment they are almost
invisible.
Would there be any sense in e.g. adding a list of favourite
channel links to jaikungfu? (with the possibility of listing all
the channels you're in ;))
@shuopio: Sorry for not
giving you a better answer before. The problem, if nothing has
changed over the last couple of months, is that there's currently
no way of finding all the channels one's subscribed to. Which is
also why I'm kind of stuck when it comes to doing anything with
channels in Jaikungfu.
If you have any ideas that could bring me forward, I'd be very
grateful :)
@lemonad: Is jaikungfu
using the Jaiku API or is it extracting its information from the
page? Without knowing the details of the API at all, I would
presume it would be possible to iterate through the users contacts
and check whether they are channels or not (?).
I fully acknowledge the apparent standstill of Jaiku, just was
asking If I simply missed something from the present UI.
@shuopio: Jaikungfu uses
both the Jaiku API as well as information directly obtained from
Jaiku pages.
When it comes to obtaining the channels one's subscribed to,
it's unfortunately a matter of an indefinite number of iterations
as Jaiku is showing a set of random contacts/channels every time
you load your page or the API (http://lemonad.jaiku.com/json).
You'll never know when to stop.
@lemonad: uh oh, thats
very "useful" feature then.. Are the native jaiku clients also just
hunting the contact list using that? There's not even the number of
contacts available anywhere?

From top of page: Channels.

@map: Yes, naturally, but that seems to show only maximum of 12 channels. I have joined more than that..

Oops, haven't notice the limitation, sorry.

@BUGabundo: I don't know... No, not under cover and Jaikungfu is my follower.
But as I don't use Firefox > I don't use Jaikungfu. If it has something to do with anything...

I can't remember when I added you @map but I think it should have been a long time ago. I'll double check!

At least Mauku is using the API also, and has similar problems with the changing contacts/channels. The API is totally brain damaged!
